They kill three people as they escape from one village: Nanjappa, Inspector Rudra, and Giri In addition, Vedha rescues two women who were being sold as bonded laborers and reprimands those responsible. Ramaa learns about Vedha's past from a lawyer by the name of Girija.
In Shirli, Vedha and his best friend Sakri lead a contented life. He marries Pushpa in a bizarre circumstance, and the couple has a daughter named Kanaka. Vedha is later remanded in prison for three days for a theft Beera committed. Giri, Beera, Kalaiyan, and Nanjappa brutally assault Kanaka one night while intoxicated. Pushpa launches an angry attack on them, only to be killed by them. Rudra also gets Kanaka sent to a juvenile detention center and assists them in destroying the evidence.
